About this hotel
Beit Almamlouka goes back to the seventeenth century, when Damascus was under Ottoman rule, and was passed down through families until it was turned into a hotel in 2005. It was the first Damascene house in the city converted that way. The five-star hotel is at Bab Touma next to Hamam El Bakri, and keeps its wall inscriptions and decorated wooden ceilings. It has single and double rooms, a deluxe suite and a diplomatic suite.
