Dar Al Noor occupies a Damascene courtyard house from the early 1700s, built around an open central courtyard. The four-star hotel has about ten rooms and one suite, in single, double and triple layouts. It stands in the Al-Amin quarter of the Old City near Bab Touma, beside the Mariamiya Cathedral and within walking distance of the Umayyad Mosque and the old souks.
