About this hotel
A stone and marble fountain sits at the centre of Via Recta’s courtyard, and when the weather turns cool a glass roof slides across to cover it. Breakfast, which includes local dishes, is served there. The five-star hotel is on Straight Street by Al Zaitoun alleyway in Bab Sharqi, Old Damascus, and has ten rooms and suites, among them two duplexes facing the main street. Rooms carry their own names, such as the Fountain room, the Najem triple and the Jerji Al-Bitar suite.
